Pivotal Partners uses a structured and proven process with specific goals set for each step where we conduct formal dedicated searches.
- Client Assessment
Pivotal Partners performs a client assessment as part of its initial due diligence. This assessment is crucial to delivering the short term result (sourcing the best candidate in the market) and maintaining a long term relationship. We will work with the hiring manager (or team) to be sure that we have a clear understanding of the organization’s business drivers, goals, culture and any key initiatives.
- Role Definition
Pivotal Partners works with the hiring manager to confirm, modify, and (in some instances) create the actual job specification. We will create a profile to confirm our understanding of the project requirements.
- Search
Pivotal will research the market and identify the slate of qualified candidates from our Dedicated Search Process. This will be based on agreed criteria and, most importantly, targets the passive candidate market versus relying on the active candidate market.
- Candidate Assessment
Pivotal Partners qualifies candidate credentials and interest levels through extensive interviews. We assess skills, experience and overall fit. We check references in advance. We create an overview document that includes information such as salary history, interest level, technical and interpersonal skills, prior achievements, salary expectations, etc.
- Client Evaluation
Pivotal Partners will review the candidate assessment and short list with the client. Pivotal will also coordinate all candidate interviews.
- Offer and Acceptance
Pivotal Partners extends offers and helps manages the negotiation process. We play a key role in securing the commitment from chosen candidate. We also communicate professionally with all of the candidates not selected.
- Audit and Review
Pivotal Partners and its clients have a mutual interest in the successful on-boarding and long term success of the chosen candidate. We will hold periodic reviews to make sure both client and candidate are satisfied. We are committed to ensuring mutual satisfaction as we are to placing the candidate initially.
